An Online Workshop


TEACHING WITH FILM: "Don't Tell Them...SHOW THEM."

MOTIVES AND MEANINGS IN AND BETWEEN HUMAN   BEINGS IS MEANT TO BE EVASIVE - ON PURPOSE - BY  SOME. THE CONFUSION WHICH FOLLOWS, IS DIFFUSED AND QUIETED WHEN WE LET, THE MEDIUM OF FILM, STRIP AWAY THE FLUFF. FILM CAN SHOW THE WIDE RANGE OF HUMAN  BEINGS' UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS WHICH GUIDE THEIR BEHAVIOR.

IF WE BUT KNEW HOW TO LOOK, LISTEN, FEEL AND INTUIT...WE WOULD FIND CLUES IN ALL HUMAN BEINGS BEHAVIORS..."TELLS"...SOMETIMES SHOWN INTENTIONALLY...TO CONFUSE OR SHOCK OTHERS...SOMETIMES HIDDEN CRAFTILY, TO OBTAIN A
CAMOUFLAGING VENEER, IF THE CHARADE IS THOUGHT TO BE BENEFICIAL, TO THE POSEUR MASQUERADING.

FORTUNATELY...IT IS TRUE...THE CAMERA DOESN'T LIE!
FOR THAT AND MANY OTHER REASONS, LEARNING FROM FILMS, AND, TEACHING WITH FILM, LIES AT THE HEART OF THE UPCOMING PARTICIPATORY WORKSHOP, TEACHING WITH FILM:"Don't Tell Them..SHOW THEM." (Sowande 2012).

The 8-part, 8-week workshop online is to be held from October  2020 through the first weeks in December 2020.

I Am Looking for a mix of people with a variety of experiences ages and ideas. Looking for for people who will communicate their ideas to the group of persons in the weekly sessions. Each Workshop is designed for a maximum enrollment of 32 Participants. This Workshop is open to the public. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, and Must have current picture ID.

 Workshop Days and Times:
 • Tu/Thur/Sat Schedule 2:PM – 4:PM - 16 Maximum
 • Weds/Fri/Sat Schedule 2:PM – 4:PM -16 Maximum
 • Total Cohort Group 32 Participants per week.


• Cost: $80.00 for all 8 modules. Terms Available:
1. Pay in Full upon Registration. Credit Card, PayPal, Money Order, Check.
2. Agree to Pay $10.00 Dollars per week upon Registration.
3. Apply to “Barter Pay” by providing services weekly for 8 weeks Upon Registration.
